Our Vehicle Inspection consists of an extremely comprehensive walk around the vehicle and has a number of uses.
Pre-Purchase Inspection
When buying a used vehicle it is important to know it's in good condition before travelling to view and parting with your cash. By giving our Revving Nut Technicians the 'buyers eye' our Vehicle Inspection can help point out issues we've found which can be discussed with the seller. We've designed this in line with the increasing rate of buyers/motorists buying vehicles without a viewing. This means you will have a detailed report to help you decide whether to buy or not.
Pre-Delivery Inspection
This is the final inspection carried out to make sure the vehicle is as described and everything on the vehicle is working before it is delivered or handed over to the customer. Consisting an examination from paint and bodywork to upholstery and dash lights plus more. These are potential issues which could have been missed at the factory or sustained during transportation. If any problems are identified they can be repaired then and there.
End of Lease Inspection
With 90% of new vehicles brought on PCP or PCH finance, it is important to know where you stand with fair wear and tear. Research found that 69% of leasing agreements were charged for a repair bill that was not expected averaging £473. To avoid huge bills it is advisable to familiarise yourself with the fair wear and tear policy 10-12 weeks before the end of agreement. The British Vehicle Renting and Leasing Association recommends an inspection is carried out with enough time to rectify any areas and giving you proof of vehicle condition. Our report identifies the areas that need attention before returning the vehicle to the leasing company.
Our keen-eyed Revving Nut Technician will take up to 1 hour to mark the condition of each panel, identifying any scratches/dents/damage/wear and tear/poor repairs inside and out with photographic evidence every step of the way and a walk round video. This is an extensive report on the visual representation of the vehicle. Our Revving Nut Technician will not test drive or provide any mechanical feedback of the vehicle but can offer an experienced opinion. TERMS & CONDITIONS
If you bring your vehicle to us we will require your vehicle for up to 1 hour to complete a comprehensive vehicle inspection.
Our keen-eyed Revving Nut Technician will spend a maximum of 1 hour per vehicle.
All vehicles must be at the same location and have the same availability to qualify for 5+ cars or 10+ cars discount.
If our Revving Nut Technician arrives and has to wait for the vehicle to become available there is a Wait Time charge of £15.00 per 30 minutes.
If our Revving Nut Technician arrives and the vehicle is not on site, or at an alternative location, there is an Abort charge of £30.00 per vehicle.
If you are the buyer, you must obtain the permission of the seller for our Revving Nut Technician to inspect, if this is not obtained, there is an Abort charge of £30.00 per vehicle.
If our Revving Nut Technician arrives at the vehicle and we have been provided with incorrect vehicle information, there is an Abort charge of £30.00 per vehicle.
If the vehicle is wet/not clean our Revving Nut Technician may not see all scuffs/scratches/dents/damage/wear and tear/poor repairs and can also refuse to inspect, therefore we request the vehicle is reasonably clean and kept dry if possible. If our Revving Nut Technician refuses, there is an Abort charge of £30.00 per vehicle.
If you need to cancel a booking, 24hours notice must be provided. Failing to inform us in time, there is an Abort charge of £30.00 per vehicle.
We cannot guarantee the genuinity of vehicle mileage, therefore recommend you perform your own vehicle checks.
Our Revving Nut Technicians are not mechanics but are trained to our company's very high standards. They will only be inspecting the vehicle and will not be able to assist with any mechanical feedback. The company or Revving Nut Technicians will not be held responsible for any vehicle damage/failures after this inspection takes place.
Requesting a Revving Nut Technician to come to you is FREE
if the vehicle is within 15 road miles of LE2. Call Outs further than 15 road miles from LE2 are charged at £0.90 per mile one way additional to the service you have chosen.
Requesting a Revving Nut Technician to come to you is FREE
if your booking exceeds £1000.00. All vehicles must be at the same location and have the same availability to qualify for this offer.
